SPRING PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP AT BLUE LICKS BATTLEFIELD STATE PARK, Mt Olivet, Kentucky
Come join in with us at beautiful Blue Licks Battlefield State Park this Spring for a weekend of Photography! The dates are Friday and Saturday May 11 & 12, 2012. We will be getting started around 6pm Friday evening for a meet and greet and talk about what we will be photographing Saturday. During the evening we will be going over photography technics and equipment, viewing photos and just spending our time talking about photography and preparing for Saturday. Saturday morning we will be getting started early (rain or shine), we will be looking to get alot of Sunrise shots down around Tanners Station and then working our way around the trails along the Licking River. We will come back to the Lodge for some lunch, and after eating and a little rest we will do some photo critiquing and be getting ready to get back out and about in the Park for the rest of the day up to and after Sunset! We’re really looking forward to a great time and the opportunity of making alot of wonderful “Spring Time” photos!
Please sign up early because we are limiting the number of the participants so there will be plenty of opportunity for “one on one” instruction if needed.
The cost will be $125.00 per person and payment isn’t due until that weekend. It doesn’t matter what camera equipment you have because it is open to all camera sizes and shapes! If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to call or email. We will be sending out an email with a list of suggested things to bring for the weekend later to all who get signed up. You can contact the Park at 800-443-7008 for room reservations and mention too them you are attending this Workshop. We have reserved in the Lodge a block of rooms at a group rate. There should also be camping sites available in the campground. Maysville and Paris have motels also but no guarantees on room availability.
